The physician will manage urgent and emergent medical problems, render medical care to all patients, and create patient-specific care plans. They are also expected to perform minor surgical procedures and interact regularly with the center manager.
Candidates must have graduated from an Allopathic or Osteopathic medical school and be Board Certified or Board Eligible. An active, unrestricted license in North Carolina is required, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Physician is required to have graduated from an Allopathic or Osteopathic residency in either Family Medicine, Internal Medicine Pediatrics, or Emergency Medicine within the United States. Experience in Urgent Care or Pediatrics is a plus. Must be comfortable evaluating patients of all ages and acuity. Expected to take a vested interest in their patients’ well-being, demonstrate good listening skills, and express empathy and understanding when communicating with patients.
Graduation from an Allopathic or Osteopathic medical school.
Possibility to supervise advanced practice providers as approved by the chief medical officer.
