Vincent Kokomo to provide rehabilitation therapy services in order to best serve patients in the area.
As an Inpatient Occupational Therapist, you'll work one-on-one with hospitalized patients to bring them a sense of normalcy and independence through self-care management and Activities of Daily Living.
You are comfortable communicating and educating patients, family members, and caregivers on how to best assist with daily routines.
This role gives you the opportunity for interdisciplinary team collaboration to ensure the best and most evidenced based practice for our patients.
Your Responsibilities as an Occupational Therapist – Inpatient/Acute Care Deliver evidence-based, quality care to each patient empowering them to previous level of functioning or proceed to next level of care Establish timely treatment plans for each patient’s specific needs Demonstrate a positive connection with patient, fellow clinicians, and other team members Build and maintain relationships throughout the hospital (I.e. physicians, case management, nurses, etc)
