The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN II) provides nursing care under the direction of an RN, performing assessments, administering medications, and conducting patient education. Essential duties include collecting and reporting patient information, assisting with admissions/discharges, and ensuring safe medication administration.
Candidates must possess a current LPN license in Mississippi and effective communication skills to fulfill the role's requirements. Physical demands include the ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs independently.
Department: Third west (3w)
Provides nursing care under RN direction; performs assessments within scope, medication administration, documentation, and patient education.
• Current LPN license (MS); effective communication skills.
• CPR certification.
