The Patient Care Technician performs patient observation, documents care and responses, and communicates significant information to the registered nurse and other team members. Essential functions include assisting patients with daily living activities and providing basic nursing care such as positioning, lifting, and hygiene assistance.
Candidates must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English, possess good attendance, and have excellent oral and written communication skills, along with basic computer knowledge. A high school diploma or GED is required, and completion of a Patient Care Training program and State Certified Nursing Assistant licensure are preferred, with BLS certification being mandatory.
