The CT Technologist operates specialized equipment to obtain quality images and apply ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis. They are responsible for performing IV contrast injections, positioning patients, and coordinating care plans with the healthcare team.
Candidates must be a high school graduate and a graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology. ARRT registry and AHA-BLS-HCP certification are required, with CT registration mandatory within one year of hire.
