Market context
Virginia employers often seek registered sonographers for cardiology settings to support echocardiography and related diagnostic imaging during weekday schedules. These roles are competitive because they require approved ultrasound training, current ARDMS/CCI or ARRT/ARDMS credentials, and BLS/CPR certification; benefits such as PTO, medical, dental, vision, and sign-on bonuses can also affect interest.
