The Radiologic Technologist applies ionizing radiation for diagnosis and operates specialized fluoroscopic and radiographic equipment. Responsibilities include assessing patients, performing IV injections, and collaborating with physicians in Emergency and Operating Room settings.
Requires a high school diploma and graduation from an approved School of Radiologic Technology. Candidates must be ARRT registry or registry eligible and hold an AHA BLS-HCP certification.
Effective interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills required.
