Provides practical nursing support in a physician practice, including patient assessments, medication administration, and assisting with diagnostic procedures. Responsibilities also include maintaining clinical areas, documenting patient data in EMR, and performing lab or radiology tasks as assigned.
Requires graduation from an accredited practical nursing school and current LPN licensure in the State of Virginia. AHA BLS-HCP certification is required, and one year of physician office experience is preferred.

Must have the ability to problem-solve and communicate with a wide variety of people in an effective manner. Must exhibit skills to utilize automated computer systems, including electronic medical records. Keyboarding skills required for automated computer systems, including electronic medical records.
