The Surgical Technologist will scrub surgical procedures under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and assist with patient transfers and positioning. They will also prepare and maintain supplies and instruments for surgical procedures while anticipating the needs of the surgeon.
Candidates must have two or more years of Surgical Tech experience and completion of an appropriate Surgical Tech program. Certification and registration to practice in Virginia, along with a high school diploma and BLS certification, are also required.
