Provide individualized, goal-directed nursing care using the nursing process and implement provider orders accurately and efficiently. Anticipate and assess patient needs while coordinating timely interventions and educating patients and families on health and medical needs.
Candidates must have a current Montana RN license or compact license, with a BSN preferred and at least 2 years of related experience. Strong knowledge of nursing theory, medical terminology, and various certifications are required, along with excellent critical thinking and communication skills.
Our 40-bed Acute Care Unit cares for a wide variety of patient, from COPD, CHF, and kidney failure to GI bleeds, sepsis, and beyond. You’ll see post-op ortho, urology, and neuro patients, plus those transitioning from ICU, IMC, or straight from the ER. No two days are ever the same, and our nurses thrive on the challenge. Current Montana RN license or compact license; required. BSN preferred. 2+ years of related experience preferred (hospital, clinic, or physician office). Strong knowledge of nursing theory, medical terminology, HIPAA, OSHA, and infection control. BLS/CPR required; additional certifications as applicable. Excellent critical thinking, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Computer literacy (Microsoft Office and EMR systems).
