EEG Tech Per Diem / Mount Holly

Summary

• The neurology technologist is responsible for providing various adult electroencephalogram studies (routine, sleep deprived, LTM,) as ordered by a physician. This individual (if registered) will provide clinical oversight for non-registered technicians performing EEG procedures. In addition, this individual will act as a super-user/system administrator for the NATUS digital EEG system and long-term EEG monitoring systems.

• Performs various types of electroencephalogram studies.
• Obtains patient history from medical record, documents information in digital EEG system. Ensures patient orders and charges are correct and appropriate.
• Maintains the digital EEG and long-term monitoring systems. Clips long-term monitoring studies to reduce required server space. Position Qualifications Required / Experience Requirement Clinical Routine-LTM EEG experience preferred. Knowledge of NATUS EEG systems preferred.

• Education: High school education. College education preferred. R.EEG.T Registry exam eligibility via ABRET Pathway required. EEG registry required within one year of employment.
• Training/Certifications/Licensure: BLS. EEG registry required within one year of hire.

Hourly Rate

$28.63 - $44.54 The actual salary/rate will vary based on applicant’s experience as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
