Cardiac sonographer - Per diem

About the Job

Provides proper testing and education for in/outpatients following prescribed schedules, physician orders, competencies, and protocols. Utilizes proper equipment and procedures, protects patient’s confidentiality, and produces accurate and complete documentation for all activities.

What You’ll Do

  • Performs all aspects of cardiac sonography within practice guidelines and approved hospital policy and procedures.
  • Coordinates with physicians, nurses, allied staff, patients, and family in scheduling and providing testing
  • Responds to all emergencies and assists with patient transports as required

Who You Are

Successful completion of an accredited Allied Health Program

Current RDCS credential preferred. Requires minimum eligibility for RDCS Boards and/or potential to earn RDCS credential within 1 year required.

Current CPR certification required.

State of New Hampshire Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy licensure required.

Pediatric/neonatal experience a plus. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in echocardiography preferred.
