The Cardiac Sonographer performs all aspects of cardiac sonography according to practice guidelines and hospital policies. They coordinate with medical staff and assist in emergencies and patient transports as needed.

Provides proper testing and education for in/outpatients following prescribed schedules, physician orders, competencies, and protocols. Utilizes proper equipment and procedures, protects patient’s confidentiality, and produces accurate and complete documentation for all activities.
Successful completion of an accredited Allied Health Program
Current RDCS credential preferred. Requires minimum eligibility for RDCS Boards and/or potential to earn RDCS credential within 1 year required.
Current CPR certification required.
State of New Hampshire Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy licensure required.
Pediatric/neonatal experience a plus. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in echocardiography preferred.
