Description Provide direct care to residents under the direction of licensed nursing staff.
Assist residents with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Assist with mobility and transfers, using appropriate lifting and transfer techniques.
Observe and report changes in residents' physical and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
Assist with meal service and feeding residents as needed.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, including changing linens, making beds, and tidying up resident living areas.
Participate in resident activities and socialization opportunities.
Maintain accurate documentation of resident care and observations.
Ability to work well as part of a team and communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
Current certification as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) is required. High school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in assisted living or long-term care is preferred.
