The Occupational Therapist will test and evaluate residents' physical and mental abilities to establish realistic rehabilitation goals and monitor their progress through detailed reports. This role involves consulting with the inter-disciplinary team to coordinate therapy activities and supervising Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants.
Description We have an excellent opportunity for a dynamic experienced Occupational Therapist to help care for our dear residents at our skilled nursing and rehabilitation community. Must have excellent communication, computer and documentation skills.
Test and evaluate residents' physical and mental abilities and analyze medical data to determine realistic rehabilitation goals for residents Evaluate residents' progress and prepare reports that detail progress Consult/collaborate with inter-disciplinary team to select activity programs or coordinate occupational therapy with other therapeutic activities Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant(s) Ensure evaluations and progress notes are done in a timely manner Other duties as assigned Our philosophy of Love, Care, and Understanding extends not only to our dear residents, but to our compassionate staff members as well.
