The Qualified Medication Aide is responsible for setting up, administering, and recording prescribed medications for facility residents. They perform these duties under the supervision of a licensed nurse and in accordance with state regulatory agency guidelines.
Candidates must hold a valid Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) certification and be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in good standing. Additionally, applicants must have a clean record regarding abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of resident property.
