The Registered Nurse performs comprehensive patient health assessments, formulates individualized plans of care based on assessment findings, and supports patients and families through the healthcare continuum. Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) Float Pool to join the team.
This role will be full-time night shift, with Days varying, 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.

Education: Graduate of an accredited Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing If RNs have an Associate’s Degree within 2 years of hire, they must meet with their nurse leader and conduct the following: 1. Identify which school they plan to attend, 2. Provide a written plan with anticipated BSN completion; 3. Submit a review of transcripts from the school indicating the required prerequisites and timeline for taking the courses, and 4. Complete BSN within 5 years of start date Licensure: Licensed Registered Nurse or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse or an active multi-state Registered Nurse license Experience: Minimum of two years of nursing experience Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association.
Candidates must have a minimum of two years of nursing experience and hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, or be on a plan to complete one within five years if holding an Associate’s Degree. A current BLS certification from the American Heart Association and licensure as a Registered Nurse in Virginia or holding a multi-state license are also mandatory.
