As a Veterinary Technician intern/extern, the individual will work alongside the team to assist with examinations, diagnostics, treatments, and monitoring anesthesia during surgeries. Duties also include conducting laboratory tests, taking radiographs, caring for hospitalized animals, and educating pet owners.
Candidates must be currently enrolled in an accredited Veterinary Technician program and possess a strong passion for animal care and a desire to learn. Strong communication and teamwork skills are necessary, with basic knowledge of animal handling and medical terminology being advantageous.
