About the role

The Speech Therapist will develop and adjust individualized plans of care, guide patients in therapeutic activities to improve functioning, and observe, record, and report patient progress to the physician and staff. Responsibilities also include improving swallowing, cognition, speech, and communication through activities and home exercise programs while minimizing patient risk.

Schedule: 3 weekdays; 8:30 am to 5:00 pm

Territory: Fayette, Ross, Pickaway, Hocking, Vinton, Jackson, Pike and Highland Counties

How you'll work

You'll provide home-based skilled speech therapy care for patients as directed by the attending physician. You will educate patients and their family members and ensures the safety of the patient.

Requirements

  • Speech Therapist with a current license in the state of employment.
  • Minimum one-year experience as a ST in an acute care setting. Home care experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance in your name as a driver.
  • Capable of all physical demands.
