The nurse is responsible for providing direct nursing care to residents according to all governing standards, guidelines, and regulations, which includes preparing for new admissions and ensuring rooms are ready. Essential functions also involve communicating effectively with physicians, the care team, residents, and family members, as well as administering services within the scope of nursing practice.
Candidates must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved RN program. A current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in the state is required, along with the ability to pass a drug screening and background check.
