The primary role involves assisting individuals with brain injuries, intellectual disabilities, and neurological disabilities in achieving a stimulating and dignified life by acting as an advocate and liaison for their rights and benefits. Essential functions include providing supervision, training, and direct assistance with activities of daily living such as self-care, social interaction, recreation, community engagement, and domestic tasks for an 18-year-old male.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old, possess a valid New York State driver's license, and have access to a vehicle required for job performance, along with the ability to lift 50 pounds. Preferred qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and one year of experience in the human service field, alongside demonstrating effective verbal and written communication skills.

Essential Functions:
Provide supervision, training, and assistance in accomplishing activities of daily living, which includes, but is not limited to, self-care skills, social skills, recreation skills, community skills, and domestic skills for a 18 year old male. Family would like staff that can assist with clothing person supported, assisting with transferring him to his wheelchair when needed and doin gactivities with him such as going for walks. House is a cat friendly home. Weekends Holidays Pay Rate: Pay up to $22-24 an hour Location: Penfield, NY
High school graduate or equivalent preferred; one-year experience in the human service field preferred.
