The Psychiatrist will co-manage a panel of complex members through behavioral health assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, medication management, and follow-up planning within a holistic, interdisciplinary model. They will also act as a patient advocate, helping members navigate health and social services systems in Boston and building relationships with patients and families.

Amae Health is a Series B, venture-backed Public Benefit Corporation that delivers specialty outpatient care for people living with severe mental illness, including schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar I disorder, and treatment-resistant depression. We are hiring a Psychiatrist (full or part-time) to join our soon-to-open Boston, MA clinic, as part of an interdisciplinary team dedicated to delivering personalized, compassionate, high-quality care for individuals with SMI. As an Amae Health employee, this role will deliver care in a clinic owned and operated by Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH).
What You'll Do
Provide behavioral healthcare management to Amae Health patients; monitor and manage care through an array of treatment modalities as patients progress through phases of recovery
Develop individualized treatment plans during the engagement and stabilization phase, focused on specific psychosocial and medical needs that might limit recovery
Provide continuous, regular consultations as patients navigate recovery, both in person and occasionally virtually
Liaise with patient care teams and collaborate with behavioral health providers to ensure an integrated, cohesive approach to care
Address medical needs to mitigate negative impacts of social determinants of health

The base salary range for this role is $300,000 - $330,000 annually + performance-based bonus opportunity.
Part time will be prorated.

Candidates must be Board-Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrists with active, unrestricted MA licenses and DEA certifications, and ideally possess Clozapine REMS certification and Medicaid enrollment. Prior experience with mental health/addiction issues and familiarity with the Boston area's medical and social service systems are required, alongside a holistic view of health and comfort working with diverse populations.
