The Clinician conducts screening, intake, orientation, and assessment of clients regarding substance abuse and medical history, implementing therapeutic treatment through counseling and case management. They also consult on treatment plans, provide education on substance abuse and mental health, and assist with direct client care tasks.
A Master's degree in behavioral sciences with two years of counseling experience is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, along with relevant licensure (LCSW/LADC/LPC/LMFT/LMSW) or eligibility within two years. Candidates must possess knowledge of counseling techniques, substance abuse effects, community resources, and strict adherence to client confidentiality laws.
