The Mental Health Technician provides direct supervision and support to adults with chronic mental health disorders in an inpatient setting. Responsibilities include monitoring patient behavior, documenting clinical observations, assisting with daily living activities, and ensuring a safe, trauma-informed environment.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED and an active Nursing Assistant Registration or Certification. Additional requirements include a Food Handlers Permit and the ability to obtain BLS certification within 90 days.
