The Speech Language Pathologist will develop, implement, and revise individualized, goal-directed therapy plans based on comprehensive patient evaluations, focusing on speech and feeding therapy for medically complex pediatric patients from birth through age 18. This role involves close collaboration with the interdisciplinary team for coordinated patient care and discharge planning, alongside delivering culturally sensitive parent and caregiver education.
Required qualifications include a current Montana Speech-Language Pathology License or graduation from an accredited program with the ability to obtain licensure within 30 days, plus basic CPR/BLS certification. The ideal candidate should possess experience in acute pediatric care, particularly with feeding, swallowing, lactation support, and complex medical diagnoses, with experience in Pediatric Modified Barium Swallow Studies being beneficial.
