The intern will be responsible for implementing radiation protection and safety standards while preparing for and assisting technologists and physicians during various imaging procedures. How you’ll make an impact in this role Implement radiation protection and safety standards. Prepare for and assist the supervising technologists and physicians in a variety of imaging procedures. Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations. Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly department to include procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, film storage area and any other areas in department.
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
High school diploma equivalency OR Enrolled in accredited program specific to discipline required.
