The role involves providing PRN OB/GYN Laborist coverage at Ascension St. Vincent Fishers Hospital, working restricted 14-hour night shifts (5p-7a) on weeknights and 12-hour shifts (7p-7a) on weekends, with potential for 24-hour weekend shifts. This position requires handling ED OB and Gyn coverage, managing deliveries, and operating within a team structure alongside 3 MDs.

Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Obstetrics and Gynecology. About the Facility Ascension St. Vincent Fishers offers 24/7 emergency care and specialized neonatal support for approximately 250-300 deliveries annually. Ascension St. Vincent Carmel is a full-service hospital featuring a Level III Maternity Center and Level III NICU. With 8 L&D rooms, it managed over 2,000 deliveries in 2025 and serves high-risk maternal patients. Regional coverage also extends to Anderson (Level 3 Trauma) and Kokomo. Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
Physicians who are comfortable performing emergency GYN surgeries independently.
