The role involves providing PRN OB/GYN Laborist coverage at Ascension St. Vincent Fishers Hospital, working restricted 14-hour night shifts (5p-7a) on weeknights and 12-hour shifts (7p-7a) on weekends, with potential for 24-hour weekend shifts. This position requires handling ED OB and Gyn coverage, managing deliveries, and operating within a team structure alongside 3 MDs.
Candidates must possess a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree and be credentialed by the Indiana Medical Licensing Board prior to the hire date. Advanced Life Support certification is preferred, and verification through the local credentialing office is required for both licensure and certification.

Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Ascension St. Vincent Carmel is a full-service hospital featuring a Level III Maternity Center and Level III NICU. Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
