The Certified Nursing Assistant provides direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse, focusing on maintaining patient comfort and safety by performing essential functions like recording vital signs and assisting with daily living activities. Key duties also involve timely communication of patient condition changes to the nurse and ensuring patient safety at all times.
Candidates must possess a clear and active Certified Nursing Assistant certification valid in Florida, along with CPR certification and sufficient computer skills for documentation. A minimum of one year of experience is preferred, and the ability to read, write, and understand English is mandatory.
Knowledge & Experience Requirements Clear and Active Certified Nursing Assistant certification to practice in the state of Florida Medication Administration Training (6 hours) for Assisted Living Facility (ALF) if applicable CPR certification 1 year experience preferred Computer skills sufficient to properly document services and care Must be able to read, write and understand the English language
