The Pediatric Dentist will diagnose and treat diseases, injuries, and malformations of oral structures in infants, children, and adolescents, while providing preventive care like cleanings and sealants. Responsibilities also include maintaining comprehensive patient records, prescribing medications, designing appliances, and supervising clinical support staff.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited dental school with a DDS or DMD degree, and must be licensed or eligible for licensure in Wisconsin, possessing prescribing privileges and DEA registration. Completion of a Pediatric Dentistry residency is preferred, and required experience includes working with children and adolescents.
