The Behavioral Health Therapist will use evidence-based techniques to help individuals resolve personal, social, and interpersonal concerns, developing and implementing treatment plans based on mutually accepted goals. Responsibilities also include maintaining strict confidentiality according to HIPAA and completing all required documentation in the electronic medical record promptly.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a Master’s or Doctoral Degree in a behavioral science or related field, along with unrestricted licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Tennessee, though supervision may be considered. A minimum of three years of experience as a Behavioral Health Therapist, including experience in mental health emergency assessment and care coordination, is required.
Under supervision of the Director of Behavioral Health Services at One to One Health, the Behavioral Health Therapist uses evidence-based counseling and psychotherapeutic techniques to assist people in identifying and resolving personal, social, vocational, intrapersonal, and interpersonal concerns and makes referrals for additional services as needed. Master’s or Doctoral Degree in a behavioral science or related field.
Unrestricted, unencumbered licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marital and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the State of Tennessee. Therapists who require clinical supervision will also be considered.
Experience assessing for mental health emergencies and coordination of care.
A minimum of 3 previous years’ experience working as Behavioral Health Therapist required.
