Mental Health Therapist

• Carroll Counseling, part of the Optum family of businesses, is seeking a Licensed Clinical Behavioral Therapist to join our team in Mount Airy, Maryland.

Required Qualifications

Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related counseling field Clear, active and unrestricted license ([LCSW, LCSW-C, LCMFT(LMFT), LCPC(LPC]) in Maryland

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years of professional experience post master’s degree providing behavioral health services Experience providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals, couples and families. Experience and willingness to work with children Experience working with computers for professional communication and medical documentation - Excel, Outlook, Athena RMS (or other EHRs) Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with equal effectiveness Schedule availability to work in-office 3-4 days a week Explore opportunities at Optum Behavioral Care.
