The Staff Occupational Therapist Assistant primarily supports the Staff Occupational Therapist by providing direct patient care and executing prescribed treatments according to the physician's plan. Essential duties also involve meticulous documentation, training support staff, and participating actively in patient discharge planning.
Candidates must be licensed as an Occupational Therapist Assistant in the state and proficient in computer skills, including data entry into systems like Casamba and Point Click Care. The role requires the ability to interpret technical procedures and manuals, apply basic mathematical concepts, and solve practical problems effectively.
