About the role

This role involves providing professional nursing care at the beginner practitioner level, acting as the primary nurse for assigned patients on the unit. The nurse will coordinate care planning with other disciplines based on the nursing process and hospital clinical standards.

Full-time (72 hours biweekly)

7pm-7am

Weekend and holiday rotation

Sign-on bonus eligible!!

General Summary

Provides professional nursing care at the beginner practitioner level in accordance with the principles of patient and family-centered care based on the nursing process and according to the clinical standards of the hospital. Acts as a primary nurse for patients on the unit. Coordinates care planning with other disciplines. May require specialized skills depending on unit assignment.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a Diploma Program or an Associate's Degree, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) being preferred. Applicants are required to be a Licensed Registered Nurse and hold Basic Life Support certification upon hire, with no prior work experience necessary.
