The Physical Therapist will evaluate patients' motor function, strength, and mobility to develop individualized treatment plans, providing hands-on therapy to enhance movement and functional ability in a hospital-based rehabilitation setting. Responsibilities also include collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, using evidence-based interventions, and educating families on continuing care strategies.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy (DPT preferred) and ideally have at least two years of clinical experience, especially in pediatrics or neurology. Required credentials include a current Texas Physical Therapist license and BLS certification, with mandatory behavioral training within 30 days of hire.

Located at 9525 Greenville Ave, Nexus Children’s Hospital – Dallas provides post-acute pediatric care for children with complex medical, neurological, and behavioral conditions. This campus includes the Harbor, New Directions, and Rise programs, specialized Nexus programs designed to support children with developmental disabilities, neurological injuries, behavioral challenges, and long-term medical needs.

The Physical Therapist (PT) provides specialized therapy services to children with neurological, developmental, and medically complex conditions in a hospital-based rehabilitation setting.
