The technologist performs radiographic procedures at a technical level, ensuring radiation protection standards are met while producing high-quality images using various departmental and portable equipment. Responsibilities also include assuming general care and safety for all patients within the Radiology Department.
Candidates must be graduates of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program and hold current licensure with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.). Required certifications include current Indiana State Department of Health X-ray Operator Certificate and current BLS Certification.
