The Licensed Vocational Nurse provides direct and indirect patient care services that meet the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care, meets the communication needs of the patient and family under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING Must have a current and valid license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse issued by the State of California. BCLS upon hire and maintain current. IV certification, within 2 months of hire date. Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred. Candidates must possess a current and valid state RN License and current BLS certification upon hire. ACLS certification, previous Acute Care hospital experience, Ventilator Management experience, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing are preferred qualifications.
