PRN Occupational Therapist - Acute Care

• Job Overview & Responsibilities PT Solutions works together with AdventHealth Gordon to provide rehabilitation therapy services in order to best serve patients in the area.
• As an Inpatient Occupational Therapist, you'll work one-on-one with hospitalized patients to bring them a sense of normalcy and independence through self-care management and Activities of Daily Living.
• You are comfortable communicating and educating patients, family members, and caregivers on how to best assist with daily routines.
• This role gives you the opportunity for interdisciplinary team collaboration to ensure the best and most evidenced based practice for our patients.
• Your Responsibilities as an Occupational Therapist – Acute Care Deliver evidence-based, quality care to each patient empowering them to previous level of functioning or proceed to next level of care Establish timely treatment plans for each patient’s specific needs Demonstrate a positive connection with patient, fellow clinicians, and other team members Build and maintain relationships throughout the hospital (I.e. physicians, case management, nurses, etc) Qualifications & Pay Range

Qualifications

Graduate of an AOTA approved occupational therapy program State Licensure Registered with NBCOT Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association Pay Range 45.00 - 55.00 per hour Any posted pay range considers multiple compensations factors including background, experience, and work location while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
