The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant helps the Occupational Therapist by developing programs for deficits, activities of daily living, work conditioning, and exercise to restore function and increase strength. Responsibilities also include preparing treatment equipment and establishing strong relationships with patients to help them exceed their functional goals.
Candidates must be graduates of an APTA or CAPTE approved occupational therapist assistant program and possess state licensure. A Basic Life Support Certification via the American Heart Association is also required for this role.
Graduate of an AOTA approved occupational therapy program State Licensure Registered with NBCOT Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association Pay Range 45.00 - 55.00 per hour Any posted pay range considers multiple compensations factors including background, experience, and work location while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
