This role provides professional nursing care at the beginner practitioner level, adhering to patient and family-centered care principles based on the nursing process and clinical standards. The nurse acts as the primary nurse for assigned patients and coordinates care planning with other disciplines.
Candidates must possess a Diploma Program or Associate's Degree, with a BSN preferred, and no prior work experience is required for this entry-level position. Applicants must have a current Licensed Registered Nurse license and Basic Life Support certification upon hire.
Emergency Department (ED) is a 74- bed department within York Hospital, a Level 1 Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center and Chest Pain Accredited Center of Excellence. In addition to the 74 treatment spaces, we have a 3-bed trauma bay and secure unit for behavioral health patients.
Full-Time - 0.9 FTE/72 Hours Biweekly
Night Shift - 1900-0700 or 2300-1100 - We are currently hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) for full-time roles with flexible shifts starting after 1500. WellSpan York Hospital in embarking on a significant five-year project.
