This role is responsible for fully performing basic Medical Assistant duties, which includes facilitating unit operations by managing patient flow. Key duties also involve handling all department-specific front desk tasks such as scheduling, collecting, and verifying patient payor information and documentation.
The primary requirement is the completion of a Medical Assistant Program, along with a minimum of one year of clinical experience as a Medical Assistant. Candidates must also demonstrate proficiency in effective communication and organizing changing work assignments.
