The technologist arranges patients for CT and MRI examinations, producing images to assist in medical diagnosis while ensuring patients are not exposed to unnecessary radiation. They monitor patient and personnel safety near magnetic areas and perform necessary patient screening protocols.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and possess current state licensure, ARRT (R) (CT) certification, and Basic Life Support (BLS - HCP). Required experience includes CT registry and six months of MRI experience.
