Altru Health System is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified OBGYN Physician to join our robust, collaborative team of OBGYN physicians and advanced practice providers. This role offers an excellent mix of clinic, surgical, and hospital-based care—along with a predictable schedule that supports work–life balance.

Balanced Weekly Schedule: 1 day off per week 1 dedicated surgery day 3 clinic days
3 in‑house, 24‑hour call shifts per month Average of 4–5 deliveries per day Includes emergency C-sections and ED consults
Full-spectrum obstetrics and gynecology with the support of an integrated health system.
Requirements: Board Eligible/Board Certified in OBGYN Licensed MD/DO in ND and MN

The OBGYN’s role involves evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients at Altru, providing comprehensive care for injuries and illnesses. The OBGYN's responsibilities include counseling patients on preventive healthcare measures and exercising professional judgment in alignment with Altru’s policies and standards. The position requires achieving annual Patient Engagement and Quality & Safety goals, supporting department objectives, and maintaining accurate and timely documentation to ensure quality patient care and appropriate reimbursement.
Evaluates, provides diagnosis and treatment of patients of Altru who present with injuries or illnesses. Counsels patients and advises on preventative healthcare measures.
Exercises Doctor's own judgment in the diagnosis and treatment of patients consistent with Altru’s policies and standards.
Achieves the Altru Patient Engagement and Quality & Safety goals established on an annual basis. Participates in activities and support department goals as defined by department on an annual basis.
Maintains accurate and timely documentation ensuring quality patient care and assurance of appropriate reimbursements to Altru.
Performs other duties as assigned.
This position requires proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English to ensure effective communication in the workplace and with patients, families, and team members.
