About the role

The Central Scheduler is responsible for the operational aspects of the scheduling unit, coordinating all outpatient appointments under the general supervision of the Radiology Manager. This role also includes performing other general clerical duties as assigned.

Under the general supervision of the Radiology Manager, the Central Scheduler is responsible for the operational aspects of the scheduling unit coordinating all outpatient appointments and other general clerical duties as assigned.

Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION: High school graduate or GED preferred; relevant experience in lieu of High School Diploma/GED education will be considered. MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE: One year Radiology department experience. REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: None REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES: Knowledge of computers, departmental procedures, anatomy, and quality customer service. Ability to perform job related tasks in a timely manner. Requirements

A high school diploma or GED is preferred, though relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education. A minimum of one year of experience working in a Radiology department is required.
