The Graduate Nurse actively participates in the New Graduate Nurse Residency Program, providing age-appropriate care to patients under the direction of an RN Preceptor. Responsibilities include performing delegated nursing tasks, conducting comprehensive patient assessments, and developing patient/family education plans.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program and eligible to practice as determined by the State Board of Nursing, with less than one year of RN experience required. Specific licensing and certification requirements, including passing the NCLEX, vary by state of work location.
