• MSK: We are looking for talented nurses to join MSK's Emergency Center! The Emergency Center provides emergent and comprehensive patient-centered care to MSKCC’S patients, families, and staff 24 hours, 7 days a week. Patients are triaged/evaluated, and a decision is made to admit, discharge, or place a patient in observation status in the Clinical Decision Unit (CDU).

• Overview: Implement the nursing process for medical and surgical patients requiring intensive monitoring and nursing interventions in our Urgent Care Center. Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to facilitate continuity of care. Provide outstanding patient-centered care to our patients and unregistered patients. Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN required) Active New York State RN license required at time of hire Active BLS Certification required Critical Care/ Emergency Department and/or medical oncology experience highly preferred Core Skills: Willing to take action and eager to embrace new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm. A good decision-maker, with proven success at making timely decisions that maintain high standards of nursing care within the organization. Actively seeking new ways to grow and be challenged, using both formal and informal development. Approachable and comfortable with diverse groups of people and able to make others comfortable with you. An effective communicator, capable of determining how best to reach different audiences and executing communications based on that understanding. Capable of building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions.
