About the role

Independently perform screening and diagnostic Mammography and DXA scans while ensuring high-quality imaging. Provide patients and families with a positive, supportive experience and maintain accurate documentation within PACS/RIS systems.

Mammography Technologist 📍 Fairfax Radiology Center, Reston, VA 🕒 PRN| Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM 🚫 No Weekends, Evenings, Holidays, or Call

Qualifications

  • Required
  • ARRT (R) certification
  • Virginia Radiologic Technologist license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Preferred
  • Mammography experience
  • DXA experience (training may be available)

Compensation: Based on your qualifications and experience, the compensation range for this position is:

$39.10 - $52.90 per hour

Placement within the range is determined by factors including experience, education, certifications, and internal equity.

Requirements

Candidates must have an active RT(R) (ARRT) certification and a Virginia RT license, along with current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Mammography experience is preferred, but cross-training is available for the right candidate.
