The post-doctoral fellow will develop and translate novel gene therapies for cardiac arrhythmias. The position involves working in a collaborative environment focused on clinical testing of these therapies.
Applicants must have an MD or PhD and prior research experience. Experience in gene therapy, patch clamp, optical mapping, or molecular analysis is required.
Our arrhythmia gene therapy lab is recruiting a post-doctoral fellow with interest in developing and translating novel gene therapies to the treatment of cardiac arrhythmias. Interested candidates will want to work in this exciting environment, where the first arrhythmia gene therapies were developed and are being developed for clinical testing. Candidates should have a desire to learn cardiac electrophysiology, molecular biology or gene transfer techniques and should have some experience in one or more of these areas.
Applicants must have either an MD or PhD or equivalent degree and prior research experience. Gene therapy, patch clamp, optical mapping or molecular analysis experience is required.
