Where You Will Work

Joining our Maternity Services team at Atrium Health Lake Norman means becoming part of a compassionate, family-centered environment dedicated to supporting patients through one of life’s most meaningful experiences. Our unit specializes in comprehensive obstetric care, including labor and delivery and postpartum recovery. We provide individualized care for mothers and newborns, supported by advanced technology and a multidisciplinary team approach. Nurses here develop expertise in maternal-fetal health, newborn stabilization, and patient education, while thriving in a culture that values collaboration, professional growth, and evidence-based practice.

Expectations We’re Looking For

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • ACLS are required within 6 months of hire
  • 1 year of RN experience preferred

  • As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Requirements

Candidates must complete an accredited nursing program and hold a valid RN license. Basic Life Support certification is required, and ACLS certification must be obtained within six months of hire, with one year of RN experience preferred.
