The Caregiver is responsible for providing physical care and emotional support to clients who need assistance with daily living, including home assistance like light housekeeping and meal preparation. This role also involves companionship, accompanying clients to appointments, and assisting with medication reminders.
Candidates should ideally possess a high school diploma and must be able to pass a criminal background check, lift up to 25 pounds, and stand or bend for extended periods. Professional or personal experience caring for seniors or disabled adults is required, along with a valid driver's license and car insurance.
Visiting Angels is looking for a Caregiver to join our team. The Caregiver is responsible for the physical care and emotional support of our clients who may no longer be able to take care of themselves.
The ideal candidate must be able to care for our clients and their property with dignity, patience, compassion, and respect. This person will encourage and remain empathetic to the clients at all times.
