The role involves assisting patients before and after care provided by the Doctor of Chiropractic, including taking vital signs and performing physical therapy modalities as directed. Responsibilities also include maintaining room cleanliness, monitoring equipment, managing supplies, and assisting with general office tasks like filing and answering phones.
A high school diploma or GED is the minimum educational requirement, but candidates must enroll in or possess state certification, which includes significant observation and clinical hours within one year of employment. Candidates should also have CPR/First Aid certification and at least one year of experience in a physical therapy or chiropractic office setting.

This position must cross train between the Patient Representative and Chiropractic Assistant roles in our Elkton, MD office. ***
Sitting, standing, walking, reaching above shoulder length, working with body bent over at waist, working in kneeling position, crawling, climbing stairs, climbing ladders, working with arms extended at shoulder length, lifting maximum of 20 lbs.
