The role involves assisting patients before and after care provided by the Doctor of Chiropractic, including taking vital signs and performing physical therapy modalities as directed. Responsibilities also include accurately documenting treatments, maintaining room cleanliness, monitoring equipment, managing supplies, and assisting with general office tasks.
A minimum requirement is a high school diploma or GED, along with obtaining State Certification within one year, which includes observation and clinical hours. Preferred qualifications include CPR/First Aid certification and one year of experience in a physical therapy or chiropractic office setting.

This position must cross train between the Patient Representative and Chiropractic Assistant roles in our Elkton, MD office. ***
Sitting, standing, walking, reaching above shoulder length, working with body bent over at waist, working in kneeling position, crawling, climbing stairs, climbing ladders, working with arms extended at shoulder length, lifting maximum of 20 lbs.
