The Licensed Practical Nurse provides direct and indirect patient care under RN supervision, which includes monitoring vital signs, administering medications, performing wound care, and assisting with daily living activities. The LPN is responsible for ensuring patient safety, following care plans, and documenting all assessments and interventions accurately.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Practical Nursing Program and hold current state LPN/LVN licensure, along with required Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification. A minimum of six months of experience in a medical/surgical setting is preferred, alongside proficiency in EMR systems and strong organizational skills.
